The nonprofit association Waldkinder Ilmenau e.V. was founded in January of 2006.

Our goal was to operate a forest kindergarten in Ilmenau under a private supporting organization. We would like to express our appreciation to all of the our helpers, parents, and sponsors as well as the city of Ilmenau.
